“Work-life balance”

As a young person working, I find it extremely difficult to arrange things outside of work and have hobbies because of my busy work schedule.
Is it delusional to be hopeful that this situation will change in the future?
Or that one day I will have the super amazing/ high paying job I want AND have time to travel and see friends? Who knows. Currently though, in this day and age, it feels like that’s just a fictional story we’re all made to believe and aspire to have so we don’t lose it.
